Recent Golf had the pleasure of hosting the Autumn Matchplay at Stan Eby Course on Saturday, 26th October at Bad Saarow – Brandenburg.
As the clocks changed for winter, we set out to chase the last of the light with 18 holes of team matchplay on the stunning Stan Eby course. The morning greeted us with a soft mist, creating a serene and almost mystical atmosphere. With the course nearly empty, the setting was nothing short of perfect—calm, peaceful, and an ideal backdrop for some truly enjoyable golf.
Players embraced the team format, engaging in friendly yet competitive matches, where strategy and skill came into play. The relaxed ambiance allowed everyone to fully appreciate the game, the camaraderie, and the beauty of the autumn landscape.
A special catering partnership ensured that everyone stayed warm, well-fed, and hydrated throughout the day, adding to the overall enjoyment of the event.
With fantastic company, great golf, and an unforgettable atmosphere, the Autumn Matchplay was a wonderful way to embrace the seasonal shift. We’re already looking forward to more events at Bad Saarow and beyond!
